PARKS AND RECREATIONS

PARKS AND RECREATIONS

To stray away from the rather monotonous types of editorials about ranking movies & top ___ reasons for blah blah, The excellence of editorials gives you something new.

Editorial Opinion

Greetings readers, this editorial combines fan casting, news, time travel & much more, so be sure to read closely ;)

Now Parks & Recreations is a great comedy show that has a very "The Office"(US Version) feel to it, hence why both Parks & Rec & The Office are my fav. 2 comedy shows ever, now some of the Parks & Rec cast have a lot of potential so let me start with the fan casting now.

Yeah...not exactly what I had in mind guys... Tom can't shoot an Arrow, Leslie does not play side kick to anyone, Ron can't be hecked with caring about Gotham, Chris woulc complement the villains to much and Ben  well he would be better than Ryan so yeah maybe. Anyways...

RON SWANSON (Nick Offerman) Fan Casted as...LIVE ACTION BATMAN MOVIE HARVEY BULLOCK!

Anyone who has seen Ron (Nick offerman) on the series knows that he is funny yet serious character, his dark comedy which is very dry for some but genius to others have gotten this character a lot of love from the fans, to me he is just like Bullock from the Batman The Animated Series from the 90's I trully think he would be the perfect man for the role to bounce off on Gordon, while of course I am fan casting him in a Batman movie which limits his time on screen, this man only needs 1 minute to steal a scene, so his serious comedy (not silly kids joke like Marvel's heroes) could actually go very well in a Batman movie which we have seen before to feature dry humor.

The Next Fan cast is Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) as...CATWOMAN

Yes I know I already made a fan cast article about this but this Woman is perfect so I wont give any reasons here, just gonna drop a pic and let you judge for yourself (and Recommend you to go to the Fan fic section and read my article about it, it's named MY PERFECT CATWOMAN).

Now onto the good things...

Aubrey Plaza recently said she wanted to plat Catwoman, now April Ludgate is a cute girl with an amazing smile and great eyes but she does not really embody Catwoman to me, BUT my main issue with her is that she is married to Andrew Dwyer/Bert Macklin FBI

Now Andrew/Bert/Chris ia already Starlord for Disney's comedy movies now if these 2 are married in the Parks & Rec universe and then they crossover onto being Starlord (already happened) and then to the DC Cinematic Universe to be Catwoman I think both Cinematic Universes might explode causing reality to implode in it self which would create a dark hole which would suck the universe into it sending us into the future...but not just any future...oh no this is...

That's right folks, the future is not good, Nightwatcher will take Josh Wildings place in 2020 where he will write flame  articles about Marvel's new series Disney P.R.I.N.C.E.S.S. a series that will see Agent Yoss along with other low hollywood groupies like Pasto, Dingbat, NovaCorpsFan & AlexanderLykins drift along until a movie comes out and they can find a plot

Also Staypuffed will be another power user replacing Ror writting reviews on DC's new serie METROPOLIS based 20 years before Superman crashes in smallville, the series will follow Lois lane as she gets potty trained, Jimmy Olsen as he is still in the womb, Perry white dealing with Jammed papers in the coppier, Lex Luthor being 4 years old and already balding but good news is the series is set to end 20 seasons later with Pa kent learning he has a low sperm count and crying his way back home when him and Ma see Supe's ship crash! this series will see MantiniuMan, McGee (playing Lois lane), Brainiac13, Gusto, JamesMan and others.

Also the site will see a major change in it's ownership Nate will hand over his power to the best CBM.com user in history !!

Anyways I'm very happy to see a lot of editorials recently with the already beaten horse of Marvel theories editorials slowing down, I encourge any user's to write about DC, write about Marvel even write about Darkhorse or any other company or sorts of entreainment to just make the editorial area more diverse and fun please. Hope you enjoyed

@AlexanderLykins the Marvel actors have not been on the show AFTER they were on Marvel movies & such, only pratt. also they have featured Batman (costumes & jokes) and multiple other DC heroes in jokes :)

DCGuy - 10/5/2014, 5:26 PM
LOL @AlexanderLykins the editorial is not about that at all but ok LOL, I'm fine with the jokes so far, from Batman & flash to GL & Aquaman, can't say much. I love the comedy feel of the show, like I said reminds me of my fav all time comedy show "The Office"

What is the point of this editorial? It is literally just your ramblings, this isn't your personal blog. If your gonna write an editorial write about something relevant to ComicBookMovie.com.

Bullock and Catwoman are great calls, lol.

Couldn't Chris be Harvey Dent? You've also got a decent Amanda Waller on your hands.
XD

DCGuy - 10/5/2014, 8:42 PM
@RobGrizzly I thought about Chris but he is too nice to turn on a dime and be the bad guy IMO, he does fit a good riddler tho.

Donna as Waller would be gold xD

@ScottMontgomery SMH are you dense? do you NOT see the 2 fan cast's that link the show mentioned to CBM's? where 1 fan cast gives my reasons and the other indicates readers to check out an article on this very site?

do you not see my reasons as to why Aubrey plaza should not be Catwoman which was recent news here?

do you not see how I mocked Agents of Shield & Gotham in positive ways and mentioned CBM.com users?

do you not see how I joked about the future of CBM.com by also mentioning people who actually contribute A LOT to the site as Staypuffed, NightWatcher & myself are among the top 10 contributors of the last 30 days & in the top 20 of this year.

not to mention that I recognize the place of Ror,Josh & Nate as important people and power users as well as owner of the site?

instead of giving out critic, read next time because it's all explained in the article and like I said in the teaser this is an article to stray away from the monotonous type of editorials that have fallen on the editorial section recently never did I take this as a blog to share anything NOT CBM related.

SMH. first time I have ever had to explain an editorial that explains itself and contains multiple themes in it that each explain themselves with pictures.

what the [frick] is this?

First, we're back to "The excellence of editorials" again. Great.
Then you go on some ComicBookMovie Futures End thing (a cool idea, I must admit, but bizarrely executed).
And finally, you become the head of CBM after Nate steps down.

I need a beer.
DCGuy
DCGuy - 10/5/2014, 10:26 PM
@staypuffed i have never stopped being the excellence of editorials. I just use it when i deem fit.

The futures end idea is one i have been trying to do for a while but it just kept looking like a big troll instead of a fun look at future power users and current ones which i wanted to thank. So i shrunk it and used it here to have a base for when i am able to make it better in a future editorial

And yes I become your boss, now go post some flame war click bait news

@DCGuy Wow way to result to petty insults.
1. If your doing a fancast it should be in fan fiction not editorials.
2. Indicating readers to check out another of your articles is just self promoting your self...
3. Mocking Agents of Shield and praising Gotham just shows your own irrelevant bias.
4. Name dropping other users doesn't make these incoherent ramblings an editorial.

If you really consider yourself the "excellence of editorials" then maybe you should spend less time strocking your own ego and more time actually trying to make your work excellent.
