ComicBookMovie.com, a site notorious for people trolling and posting spoilers in the comics section for big upcoming blockbusters. Particularly in the last few weeks leading up to the release of Iron Man 3.

Part of the excitement of big upcoming blockbusters, such as the comic book movies routinely covered on this site, is the mystery of them; the not knowing what to expect and whom to expect it from. But characters such as FuturePast,(any iteration of that name) and the lesser known, TheSpoiler.

They, to me, were the key players in the ruining of Iron Man 3 for everyone else. But this article is not meat to mindlessly bash them. it is to try understand why someone feels the need to spoil films for themselves and others, and what we as a community could do to fix this issue.

First, lets examine these people. We'll start with FuturePast, A big fan of the Iron Man comics who was particularly upset with the twist in the film. While he is certainly a douchebag, we cannot berate him for being this passionate about the comic book characters we all love. I am in no way defending his actions. Now lets move on to TheSpoiler. He is a troll.

Now what can we do to fix this issue that seems to be plaguing all huge comic blockbusters. How about, whenever someone posts something spoiler related in the comments section of an article, if it doesn't have the proper tags to distinguish to other the spoilerific nature of the comment; it be checked over by the editor of that article.

This is an issue that can be easily solved, but not just by my input. Let me, and the big guy, know what we can do to better this community, in the comments sections.

1. Get rid of all the Marvel Vs DC bullshit in all articles.

i think the biggest mistake was someone posting the article about Iron Man 3 spoilers. After that all hell breaks loose.

I think we should have a "like" and "dislike" button first and for most.

Secondly I think that a "block user" section would be great as well as someone already mentioned above!

I also believe that spoiler related articles should be placed within a section stating "spoilers" this way people won't always have to see the spoilers within the subheadings on the main page.

I remember last year when there was an article stating that a certain character would die in TDKR and right within the picture for the article there was Talia Al Ghul's face.

It's not only within the articles but the title/heading of the articles as well.

iron man 3 has been out one week, australia got it on the 24th april & poland get it 9th may.

the problem with spoilers is,do you guys remember when this site was posting spoilers for the walking dead soon as it aired & some countries didn't get to see those episodes up to a week later.

you got to stay away from this site if you want to keep from knowing any spoilers, some people here were posting them deliberately & got banned for doing it.

There is really no way to stop it really unless you have a moderator who can delete comments on every article 24/7 then its almost like immposible. COmments are fine because I can just avoid reading the comment section. But its when spoiler stuff were in articles that were not headlined as spoilers and in non realted spoilers articles.

As long as people who publish stories dont write in their article spoiler stuff like collitard being talia when tdkr was being released. That shit pissed me the hell off. Then it was not one but several articles doing with that stuff. Stating like Collitard playing Miran... excuse me Talia in headlines. Or in a article about a tv spot of the movie and list the actors in the movie then have Miranda Tate with a line scratched through it then beside it have Talia Al Ghul.

i think the minute you log into this website you accept that spoilers will be unavoidable. sorry? if you disagree with that then perhaps you should find your CBM news from another source.

but i say blame Disney who releases these movies overseas two weeks before the US release. Resulting in half the world already knowing what the movie is all about.

@teabag sounds like the plot of a Star Wars movie. Not one of the original ones. One of the newer ones. You know, the shitty ones. FuturePast is Hayden Christensen Anakin Skywalker.

I don't care if you've seen the movie before me. No need to be a d-bag and ruin it.
Find another way to talk about it. Some of the contributors leave reviews on films that are spoiler free. For that, I take my hat off to you.
D-bags need to grow up.
