Anyone who's been on this site for more than 5 minutes will have noticed the mind-blowing amounts of trolling and flaming on the site. Every time an article about an upcoming CBM is posted, the comments section is filled with people bashing one studio or another and calling everyone who disagrees with them fanboys or trolls.
Admittedly, I've only been on this site for a month or two, but even I can see the sheer magnitude of this problem. So I decided to write this article. I am proposing.... (takes deep breath).... we put an end to this.
How do we do this? It's simple. Where you might normally post comments making fun of one studio for a stupid decision they made and praise another, instead try to see the upside. Let's be more positive about the characters we love being brought to the general audience (face it, nearly every one of you is relieved that your frineds & family saw the Avengers so now you don't sound like so much of a nerd).
I know that one article won't stopo all the trolling and flame wars on this site and others like it, but in the words of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, 'Every revolution begins with a spark'. Here I'm trying to light that spark. Let's stop mindlessly bashing one studio and loving another. Instead, let's appreciate that every studio has had it highs and lows at some point. The one thing that unites all of us on this site is our love for superheroes and the worlds they inhabit. So instead of using that as a point of contention, let's use it as a banner for us all to unite under.
If you want to take part in what I call the 'CBM Revolution', all you ned to do is put 'whiteflag' at the end of every comment or article you write. That way, people will know that another user has joined my cause. Thanks for reading!
