Another new poster for Priest has been released, featuring Paul Bettany and Maggie Q on futuristic motorcycles!

Set 100 years from now after the war between Christians and Satanists, the film is about a Christian warrior priest (Paul Bettany) who disobeys church law by teaming with a young sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and a priestess (Maggie Q) to track down a cult of vampire outlaws that is led by a former Christian and now a Satanic priest, Black Hat, who kidnapped his niece before they brainwash her. Dubbed a superhero/horror/western, the film is loosely based on the comic book series of the same name.




Starring Paul Bettany, Maggie Q, Cam Gigandet, Karl Urban, Lily Collins, Brad Dourif, Stephen Moyer, and Christopher Plummer, Priest hits theaters on May 13th, later this year!

DVD for sure.. CGI reminded me of "The Mummy" or "MIB", hell "Resident Evil"..

I for one think this movie looks awesome. It looks like a fun action movie. Movies don't have to be Oscar winners to be good. Hell I think that most oscar winning movies are boring.

^^^^ EXACTLY!!!! Isn't this pretty much a re-hash of Legion from last year (which I LOVED the first time i saw it...when it was called "Tales from the Crypt Present Demon Knight")...and dont no fanboys start saying 'it's different cause it has vampires or is in 3D". This is BULLSH!T. Come on, these Hollywood assclowns cant come up with anything more original or better...

why didn't they just stick to source material instead of changing it so much. It could have been killer western/supernatural horror if they actually stuck to the [frick]ing source material. What a shame

more classy roles! The parts he's taking
lately just seem so mediocre and beneath
him

What a waste, he should be playing LEX
LUTHOR in a REAL SUPERMAN movie, where
CLARK KENT is at least 6'3" and bulked-

This is what the poster for the Batman Reboot will be. Someone trying to keep Nolan's tone and add Robin.

Remember when Paul Bettany was interviewed about why he didn't want to play The Joker? He said he didn't want to be typecast.

Wasn't he a priest in The DaVinci Code? What a joke....
