What the hell were they thinking?

I never thought I'd say it, but this Punisher movie is just as bad as the other two pieces of crap that have been made in the past. The acting is horrible, the villains are perhaps the stupidest characters ever created, and the Punisher himself has absolutely no depth to him at all. The only saving grace about this film is that it is extremely violent and there are perhaps three to four scenes that actually make you think that the directors somewhat knew what Punisher fans would like to see. The movie opens up strong and makes the viewer think they are going to see a good film but after about twenty minutes it becomes painstakingly evident that this will not happen. I'd say if they were to remake Dolph Lungren's role in present time this would probably be the movie they would've made! Basically, if you're reading this I'd tell you to save your money and wait for the DVD, but I don't even really know if its worth the $2.99 rental fee!
