We recently got official word that
R.I.P.D., the comic based action flick starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff "The Dude" Bridges, will be heading for a June 2013 release date. Now according to Bloody-Disgusting (who are reporting this as a rumor themselves) have learned of Universal studios potential interest in Jodie Foster for the role of "Proctor":
It's a start with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges starring, and Bloody learned EXCLUSIVELY that the studio is highly interested in landing Jodie Foster as "Proctor". Given that she's already committed to District 9 director Neill Blomkam's Elysium, it'll be interesting to see if she ends up playing with the undead.
R.I.P.D. will be directed by Robert Schwentke, with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges co-starring; it will hit theaters June 28, 2013.
