With Star Wars: The Last Jedi finally just a few months away, the hype surrounding the movie is finally beginning to increase. Now, a new cover for Empire Magazine has been unveiled which sees Rey (Daisy Ridley) passing Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber back to Luke (Mark Hamill). Well, his robotic hand that is! This is our best look yet at the intricately designed prosthetic and it's a pretty great piece of imagery.

The issue will no doubt feature a brand new batch of images from the movie along with some fresh details about what we should expect from Star Wars: The Last Jedi this December. Of course, with Lucasfilm keeping so much of the story under wraps, we can probably forget about learning too much here.

What role this lightsaber will play in the movie remains to be seen but it appears as if Rey will wield it moving forward. However, it's easy to imagine her creating her own eventually and that could happen if Luke starts training her. What do you guys think of the cover? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
