Something about the CGI is off.

@Forthas - I was already burned by those Gemini Man reactions giving me hope before the reviews dropped as pans, not again!

Still not sold.... just sure there is more story to tell. Also the editing or effects seem off somehow can’t quite put my finger on it, maybe they’ve cut bits out of this clip.

@MUTO123 - if it gets good reviews (from critics, cause obviously you can't trust the SW fans), I'll see it the weekend after.

I like the new Terminator but thus far based on what I have seen, it does not seem like the most menacing. If I have to rate them right now I would go...

1) T-X

2) REV 9

3) T-3000

4) T-1000

5) T-800

The Terminator franchise ended truly with Judgement Day. It ended the John Connor storyline. I do like the concept of a new "chosen one" since Sarah Connor changed John's future thus preventing his purpose from the future.

So Skynet or a new program was born in the wake of T2. But this new film just doesn't look the part to me. It has terminator genisys and Salvation written all over it.

Remaining optimistic about this. It's got a lot of returning talent, new talent, and a good team behind it. Those early reviews help get me a little hyped to, regardless of how unreliable they can many times be.

I hope this franchise doesn't become like the Transformers where they just release meh movies every year that still make money cuz of brand recognition and loyalty. Just from the trailer, Arnold looked so out of place, how much can he do nowadays anyway sigh.

🤦‍♂️ How many more times are they going to do this? Sure, it looks interesting, but man, just let it die.
