Alien Prequel to be Two Films

Alien Prequel to be Two Films

Ridley Scott confirms his new story won't be limited to just one flick

Devin Faraci from Chud managed to corner the legendary director and got this answer out of him when asking if the prequel will span more than just the one movie.

"It’ll be prequel one and two. Then Alien 1." - said Ridley Scott.

He was also asked if he would possibly film both movies at the same time but that doesn't seem likely,

"'At the moment I’m just trying to get the first one out,'" said Scott.

So what do you think? Is Scott developing his own trilogy of Alien movies here that ends with the first one? Or are two prequels a pipe dream? I think it sounds cool personally - with two movies there's room for way more stuff that won't be rushed into the first Alien film.

Sounds good to me!

I am really interested to see where they take the "Soace Jockey" when they finally reveal what the hell it was.

doesnt need two films. one will do. but yeah it totally sounds like he is trying to do his own trilogy apart from the other films. but the first one is so old that the prequels wont feel like they are part of the first one... very much like the "new" star wars films dont feel like they belong with the other three.

hell yeah. i think they need to make different sized eggs so that the face huggers can get around bigger, and smaller creatures to make difdferent types of aliens. and to be able to survive if humans are not around, like being able to get around a cameleons face,or the giant space jockey,or other animals that might be transported along side the eggs in a cargo ship to another planet.lol that would be sweet.

I still think it's weird that the prequel isn't set further in the past, I'm pretty sure the jockey's ship was supposed to be like ten million years old when they found it in alien.
