JURASSIC PARK Original Laura Dern Shares A Photo From The Set Of JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION

Yesterday, Sam Neill shared a photo of an "old friend" from the set of Jurassic World: Dominion, and fellow Jurassic Park original Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler) has now followed that up with a pic of her own.

Sam Neill recently revealed that he was preparing to begin filming his scenes as Dr. Alan Grant for Jurassic World: Dominion, and he shared a photo from the set of the movie to Twitter yesterday which showed him reuniting with Dr. Alan Grant's signature fedora.

Now, one of Neill's fellow Jurassic Park originals has followed suit with a behind-the-scenes snap of her own. (

Laura Dern, who will reprise the role of Doctor Ellie Sattler, posted a pic of the chairs she and Neill use to take a load off between takes. While the Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress did appear (very) briefly as Sattler in Jurassic Park III, she hasn't had a substantial part to play in the franchise since Steven Spielberg's iconic original.

Day one. Hello old friend. #jurassicworlddominion

It's not much of a tease, but now that production has resumed and the original gang is back in business, we may begin to see some slightly more revealing set pics find their way online in the coming weeks.

We're not sure what kind of role Dern and the other JP originals will play in Dominion, but they are expected to make more than just brief cameo appearances.

The Fallen Kingdom follow-up is set to roar into theaters next June.

First two films were on par with the first two Star Wars sequel trilogy entries, hopefully this brakes the pattern and isnt as bad as Rise Of Skywalker.

@dracula - it more fits the prequels the first two were so bad.

seriously none of the Jurassic Park sequels are worth much
2nd film was crap, best part was the T Rex in the city stuff, had a nice part when Japanese people are running away and say "I left japan to get away from this"

3rd film was better, but just stupid fun.

World was to jurassic park what force awakens was to star wars

fallen kingdom was bad, 2nd worst film in series

Luke died so Alan Grant could live.

@IronGenesis - hopefully disney treats Grant, Satler and Malcolm better than they treated Han, Luke and Leia

@dracula - I don’t know if you’re old enough to recall how when Optimus prime was killed in the Transformers movie cartoon they saw the negative reaction from the fans and they quickly re-edited the G.I. Joe movie so that Duke didn’t die he just went into a coma.

It does honestly have me wondering if studios are Going to bring back films that have strong nostalgic ties if they’re going to be a little bit more careful with the outcome and treatment of those characters Based on what Disney did with the Star Wars characters

@dracula - You DO know Disney aren't the ones that own Jurassic Park, right?

@IronGenesis - Didn't grow up with G1, im 24. I enjoy the old transformers movie though.

Really I think the big difference between Optimus Prime's death and the original trilogy trio's death is that Optimus went out like a bad ass. With the original trilogy characters, their accomplishments were lessened and with the exception of Luke, their deaths were pretty underwhelming, but even then they pretty much ruined Luke's character before that.

@dracula - Jurassic Park belongs to Universal, not Disney

Hopefully this is just the returning cast members chastising the new cast for being so stupid and causing all this.

I know it all has to do with lighting, and the amount of shit all over her. And I know it WAS always Laura Dern, but I always found it funny just how different she looked over the coarse of the movie.
