GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS - Rodan Is Unleashed In This Epic New Still From The Sequel

Godzilla returns to the big screen this May with Godzilla: King Of The Monsters but he won't be alone. A number of iconic creatures from Toto's catalogue will appear, including Mothra, King Ghidorah, and Rodan, and a newly released image now puts the spotlight squarely on the latter.

"[Rodan] is a bit of a rogue… you never quite know where his loyalties lie," teases director Michael Dougherty. "Godzilla’s more of a lumbering, plodding presence; it takes him a couple of days to destroy a city like Tokyo. Rodan can level it without even thinking. He’s this massive A-bomb, so there’s a speed and ferocity he brings."

That sounds nothing short of epic and it will be fun seeing these two go to war. We know that Godzilla survives as he'll be squaring off with King Kong in the not too distant future but it will obviously take a lot for him to get through his battles with these three iconic behemoths a little later this year.
