The Gigantic Ape-King Does Not Look Happy On These Latest KONG: SKULL Island Banners

Following yesterday's somewhat subdued new look at the great ape, we now have another couple of Kong: Skull Island banners which find the simian king unleashing his fury. Click on to take a look...

This banner from yesterday featured a slightly calmer-looking King, as Brie Larson's beauty appeared to be in the process of reasoning with the beast. However, these latest official Kong: Skull Island posters depict the iconic creature in all his rage-filled glory, as he unleashes hell on the island's interlopers.

Tell us, are you looking forward to this movie, or so you think King Kong should have been laid to rest with Peter Jackson's reboot back in 2005?

KONG SKULL ISLAND

A team of explorers and soldiers travel to an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of monsters, including the mythic Kong.

Starring Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell, Kong: Skull Island is set to be released on March 10th, 2017.

The 2005 version was shit and it was a set during the 30s, so lots of room for a modern update.
My question is will they bring some originality to this one?

@nibs - i agree. i think theyll have to. because king kong dies in the original story. but since he's gonna fight godzilla in the next movie, he probably woant die in this. so there gonna have to make some tweaks.

@Omega - I'm shit because I didn't like Jack Black's King Kong? At least you're reasonable.

I haven't watched the trailers and I'm not saying that this will be good, most movies aren't. I'm just saying there is room and potential for it.
