I enjoyed it too. Rita was really fun to watch (kudos to Banks, basically kudos to all actors - they were really good). I was expecting it to be boring but i was pleasantly surprised. teen drama kept me interesting, i must say i liked that part even more than the last half an hour (i guess i never was that big Power Ranger fan, so that action scenes did not do much for me)

also - imo the movie looked really good. you can see they spend some money on this.

7/10

will there be a sequel ? ... i hope so.

I think they needed the putties to look a bit more human, because this is waaaaaaay better than the fight they ended up going with.

Honestly this movie would of been way better without the teen drama and more of a focus on the mythology and rangers in their suits.

it should of been treated like dredd with them on a mission and they should always be in their suits. instead of a removable face mask, do close ups behind with what they see and their reactions like iron man. RDJ has given some of his best moments wearing that face plate and he has a story reason of why he cant take it off, the rangers dont have people that clever behind the film. Just people copying shit from other people who copied shit.

no one cares to see the actors faces, the actors should want to honor the mask tradition in films.

The one where if your character wears a mask, thats your face. Iron man sorta gets it, but watchmen, star wars TOT, and dredd honored it the most. This is what happens when you try to make something to much like one thing, in this case, chronicle.

It should of been a mix of differnt elements like daredevil mixed in dredd with a light heart at the center. Tarantino mixes shit all the time, and it works and thats why hes one of the greats.

And the suits kind of have a cool design but the colors need to be worked on. They looked like jolly ranchers. They need to look like space ninjas meaning dull colors. a dull color palette actually works really well with the suit designs.

Heres hoping the reboot or sequel makes some changes.
