Chris Pine portrays Captain Kirk in J.J. Abrams Star Trek Reboot and will appear as the famed captain again in the upcoming sequel. Pine himself sat down with MTV recently to discuss the legacy of the Star Trek universe as well as what it was like working with Benedict Cumberbatch and how his villain will help him to grow. In the currently untitled sequel to J. J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek reboot, actors Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, and Simon Pegg will return as the crews of the ship U.S.S. Enterprise to face a threat posed by a new mysterious villain. With Benedict Cumberbatch joining the cast as the main antagonist, the movie is set to be released on May 17, 2013.
