#thinkTREK is a yearlong campaign meant to honour Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, and it's now been confirmed that over 60 celebrities, creatives, and scientific leaders have teamed up with Roddenberry Entertainment to share 100 of his most iconic and impactful quotes.

Taking place over the course of the 100 days leading up to what would have been his 100th birthday on August 19th, 2021, the videos will be posted on a daily basis across Roddenberry Entertainment’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, from yesterday. You'll also be able to ask Amazon's Alexa, "Alexa, play the Rodenberry daily quote?"

"My father, Gene Roddenberry, was an ordinary man with an extraordinary vision for the world – one of unconditional love, diversity, and unity of all people – and that vision is shown through not only Star Trek, but through the words he spoke in his lectures, his interviews and his writings," says Rod Roddenberry. "To have members of the Star Trek franchise and celebrity fans bring those words back to life is a very exciting way to celebrate a momentous year in his history."

Bill Nye, LeVar Burton (Star Trek: TNG), George Takei (Star Trek: TOS), Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery), Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: Picard), and Kevin Smith (Clerks) are among those participating.

A 100 episode daily podcast called "Quoting Gene Roddenberry" has also been announced. Hosted by famed blogger Trent Vanegas (Pink is the New Blog) and actress Rachel True (The Craft), each short-form episode will feature a lively discussion between our hosts and that week’s guest host. The conversations take deep dives into the meaning, history, ethos and impact of Roddenberry's words.
