Well, I received an email from one of the films producers a while back but for one reason or another, I couldn't clear a block of time to sit down and watch the film. Man, I wish I would've watched it sooner. Any issues you have with the film should easily be overlooked due to the extraordinary effort put into the sets, costumes, and SFX. This is easily one of the best Star Wars fan films out there. Enjoy!

A Light in the Darkness is a Star Wars fan film made for the love of filmmaking and of course, Star Wars. It has been an exciting and challenging experience to make a high quality, low budget film. This project was possible thanks to the talents and time of our all volunteer cast and crew. The film in its completed form will be released on September 20th, 2011.

CREATORS
Fed Wetherbee: Director/Co-Writer & Producer
Fed Wetherbee is an Emmy award winning cameraman who has worked on many popular reality shows including, Survivor and The Ultimate Fighter. The opportunity to work on a project with such a different pace and feel was very exciting. A Light in the Darkness is Fed’s writing and directing debut.

PJ Tamayo: Art Director/Co-Writer & Producer
PJ Tamayo is a writer and concept artist with a background in theme park, special venue and attraction design. His contributions have resulted in award winning experiences across the globe including the Dragon’s Treasure and Virtual Aquarium shows for the Melco Crown Resort and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride.

After six years of focusing on short-format experiences PJ was hungry for the opportunity to work on a more expansive story. He was thrilled to meet the challenge of physically and conceptually developing a universe in his own back yard.

Impressive... Most impressive. Maybe Lucas could see this and remember how it was to work with the heart and not for the money...

Amazing. The acting and story were terrible. And yet, I enjoyed it much more than Episodes 1 - 3. Imagine what these people could do with a budget and actors.

I have to admit, before clicking play on the first video, I had every prejudice of preparing to laugh my a** off, but it was a worthy effort much to my surprise.
1. It probably cost him some serious coin to make it.
2.Lucas...probably has at least 14,000,000 lawsuits filed for copyright and trademark violations even as I'm writing this.
3.The guy obviously loves Star Wars, so I respect him for work he did.( even though there were some LOL moments).

It had the same feel as an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation........still entertaining and makes me wonder why Lucas can't seem to get his Star Wars TV show off the ground.

This is Greedo approved!!!!!

Well this makes me feel that a Star Wars TV series set after the clone wars but before "A New Hope" could be done and be pretty cool as long as Lucas does nothing other than put his name on it.

The acting is good. MOST of all the story is AWESOME!!!! sexy rebel chick! Love the ending! This is the kind of movie I would buy or pay money for. I am tried of seeing the same star wars movies over and over again. We need new stories and fun battles. That is why I watch the clone wars cgi cartoon. That is why we need a continuation of Return of the jedi! More movies! Not waiting till Lucas dies for someone else to finally make another movie. why wait 20 years for more? That is why passionate fans are making their own movies. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! AWESOME!!!
