First STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY: ROGUE ONE Set Photos Feature Classic Stormtroopers
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters later this year, but we won't have to wait too long for out next Star Wars fix as 2016 sees the release of Gareth Edwards' Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One! The first set photos have now surfaced, and you can check them out here...
With Disney and Lucasfilm currently keeping the focus on the secretive Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One remains a mystery. A handful of notable casting addtions have been made in recent months though, and it's been widely reported that the movie takes place before the events of A New Hope and that the story is going to revolve around a group of Rebels stealing the plans of the first Death Star. All in all, it's shaping up to be pretty awesome!
Now, the first set photos have found their way online courtesy of Mirror Online. Taken at Elstree Studios, they depict a group of Stormtroopers and part of a ship on what looks like a very tropical planet. A variety of weapons can also be seen, and this movie will mark the first time we've seen the classically clad version of this villainous army since Return of the Jedi. Can you spot any Rogue One clues here? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts and theories in the usual place.
