So many
Star Wars: Episode VII rumours, so little time. The high anticipation and torturous wait for something official from the J.J. Abrams camp means that we'll tend to post pretty much any cool bit of new info pertaining to the currently shooting movie we come across, and this concept art description from Making Star Wars definitely qualifies. The site claim to have gotten a look at 2 pieces of art depicting a previously unseen villain, with a backdrop reminiscent of the Hellish fire and lava planet of Mustafar. The character is armoured, wields a red lightsaber and is described as looking a bit like "Darth Vader if he were a ninja". Here's an excerpt from the report.

"The helmeted figure faces left. This is a profile picture. The black cape flows outwards and the figure is in an attack stance, lightsaber held out in front, with both hands on the hilt. The lightsaber is red and has some motion to it as if it was just swung. Everything is black, the gloves, the pants, the boots, the mask. The helmet looks like a samurai helmet. If you took Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and removed all the ornate additions from the helmet, you could have something similar. The back is kind of like Vader’s helmet but it is short, it just protects the back of the head, leaving the neck exposed. The face is covered. But you can see the eyes. This costume is Darth Vader if he were a ninja. Where the eye holes are, there is some light colored design. It has a good vibe about it. It reminds me of Shredder, a little bit of someone from Cobra in the old G.I. Joe and he has a black flowing cloak and red lightsaber which makes it look very cool."
You may remember we had that (supposed) leaked concept art of a hooded cyborg type character holding Vader's mask, but this is apparently someone else entirely. The site speculate that it may be how Adam Driver's antagonist could appear at some point in the movie, or perhaps even the visage adopted by Luke Skywalker if those rumours about him turning to the dark side are true (Spoiler: they're probably not). The description does sound very like the mask donned by Expanded Universe Sith Lord Darth Bane however! Anyway, let us know what you think in the usual place.
