Dengar only appears very briefly in The Empire Strikes Back, but along with Bobba Fett and the rest of the motley crew of Bounty Hunters shown in the scene with Darth Vader, he has gone on to become a fan favorite. Simon Pegg, a massive Star Wars fan, will now provide the voice for the unusual looking character in the Clone Wars animated series..

I think Simon Pegg's awesome and am looking forward to this. How awesome to be in both a Star Trek franchise and now Star Wars!

@ demonhunter15: yeah, but they've pretty much said that, at this point, the Clone Wars show should be counted as canon, fitting in between episodes II and III and overwriting any other books, comics, shows, etc. (including even the 2D, cell animated show which was pretty awesome). So, for now, if there's a discrepancy, we've got to go with the new show. Now I'm still hoping for the live action show between episodes III and IV.
