STAR WARS Blu-ray Re-Releases For All Ten Movies Coming In September; Check Out The Cover Art Here

Disney is quietly re-releasing all ten Star Wars movies on Blu-ray next month, and now the cover art for every chapter from The Phantom Menace to Solo has been revealed. Check it out after the jump...

If you choose to subscribe to Disney+ this November, you'll be able to watch all of the Star Wars movies in one place. However, if you're a fan of physical media platforms, then these Blu-ray re-releases may be of interest. As you can see below, Disney is planning on putting all ten movies back into stores, this time with some very cool new cover art.

These uniform designs aren't dissimilar to the VHS covers of old, and some fans are bound to appreciate the opportunity to have matching cover art for each of the Star Wars movies.

However, if you currently own DVD copies of them and are finally thinking about upgrading, it might be worth holding off because rumours continue to run rampant that Disney is planning on releasing the entire Skywalker Saga on 4K Blu-ray next year. Unfortunately, there's still no word on the truly original versions of the first three films hitting Blu-ray somewhere down the line.

To check out the full gallery of cover art, simply hit the "View List" button down below!

Just stunning

@ChangAlang - Honestly this cover, along with Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One, are the best looking ones of the bunch.

@ChangAlang - I beg to differ this looks terrible. Did they de-age Mark Hamil on the cover? It looks nothing like him from that film. These re-releases are stupid if they don't spend the money to remaster the film again from it's original negative.

@ChangAlang - should get Drew Struzan to do the art

@mastakilla39 - fair enough (:

And I definitely agree with you about throwing some money toward remasters

Might as well wait for the inevitable set with Episode IX included.

Since Disney now owns Fox, I was kinda hoping Disney was gonna redo the cgi in the first six movies. Anyway, these covers are pretty neat

@MalseMarcel - That would be pretty cool but I highly doubt that will ever happen.

@MalseMarcel - I wouldn't be surprised if you see a super set come out in the next year or two once the last movie is released where the OT are the originals that are just digitally cleaned up without the specialness. Could be very wrong, but Disney is a money grubbing company and they know they could make some bank off those!

@MalseMarcel - Just release the original cuts of the original trilogy, just clean up the picture and any existing effects, don't use any of the stuff that was added later, and use the original song from Jaba's palace

They know how dumb people are with their $$$ by looking at all these live action re-releases, some crappy comic mobies and typical Star Wars movies.

Kerp milking these dumb people dry, some of them use their credit cards and then later wonder how are they in big debt. :D 😂😂

I really doubt they're doing two separate re-releases so close together. The 4K copies, if they're happening, will probably drop at the same time as these blu ray releases in order create synergy.

So they're releasing these before Episode IX comes out... and then they can release 11 movies again to make more money... smart on their end i suppose?

Is it possible to get this set without the Last Jedi? Or should I just get it anyway and just enjoy seeing The Last Jedi disk doing the rounds in my cats litter box.

@Imfunnyhow - It's not a set, they're individual.

I do like the uniformity of the cover art, it why didn’t they wait for The Last Skywalker’s home release before doing this? I bet the cover art will be different for it just to annoy the crap out of everyone who bought these ones.

Eh I'll wait for the 4k Skywalker saga box set, also Disney.. since you own the original copies of 4-6, release them! I'm tired of watching the despecialized editions lol

They put Jango and Bobba Fett in prominent places on the cover like they are actual important characters.

@VoiceofReason - since you dont even know the character's actual name, you dont get to have an opinion. (Its Boba, btw)
