As C-3PO, Anthony Daniels has become an iconic part of the Star Wars franchise. The actor has also appeared in more stories set in this Galaxy Far, Far Away than any other actor, with his latest cameo coming in last Tuesday's episode of Disney+'s Ahsoka

Over the years, the actor has acquired a treasure trove of props and is now parting ways with at least some of them as part of an upcoming Propstore auction. As we first reported on SFFGazette.com, the biggest draw is going to the original C-3PO head worn by the actor in Star Wars: A New Hope with current estimates suggesting it will sell for £500,000 - £1 million ($600,000- $1.2 million).

The actor will also be selling an original third-draft script from the 1977 movie which is expected to fetch as much as £10,000 - £20,000 (a veritable bargain).

"We have his complete archive from his time of working on the 'Star Wars' films," Propstore founder and Chief Executive Stephen Lane says, "so that includes some of the props and body components and parts, his head, his hands, his feet. We have his original scripts with the annotations in there as well."

Daniels, who looks set to make a fortune, adds: "I'm thrilled that Propstore has agreed to curate my collection and I trust that the pieces will go into the right hands. I hope this can bring pleasure to Star Wars fans and collectors all around the world and give them a chance to own a piece of the real thing."

Other items on sale include a Harrison Ford-signed bullwhip from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (£100,000 - £200,000), Freddy Krueger's hero glove worn by Robert Englund during A Nightmare On Elm Street (£200,000 - £400,000), and Captain America's shield from 2011's The First Avenger (£50,000 - £100,000).

For fans who have incredibly deep pockets, auctions like these are obviously incredibly exciting as it means they have the opportunity to own a piece of the movies they love. For others, these items are an investment, but we wish Daniels all the best with his sale!

Commenting recently on his cameo role in Ahsoka, the actor said, "I was so pleased to shine briefly in the iconic Ahsoka - had such a perfect time with the lovely cast and crew on set, in the amazing Volume  - and now, so touched by the kind comments from viewers who appreciated 3PO being there for the beloved princess. Thank you. Everyone."

The auction takes place on November 9, so you'd best start looking down the side of the couch for those extra pennies now!
