If you've seen Terminator 2: Judgement Day you'll surely remember the character of Miles Bennet Dyson (Joe Morton). He was the man most directly responsible for the creation of Skynet, and in that movie Sarah Connor travels to his house to eliminate him in the hope of stopping the rise of the machines before it even begins. Well, it seems that Miles' son Danny will be making an appearance in the upcoming Terminator: Genesis, and according to THR's Borys Kit, Attack The Block actor and current Star Wars hopeful John Boyega is the man they want for the role.

Terminator: Genesis also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney and Emilia Clarke, with a release date set for July 1st, 2015.

I wondered if we'd ever hear about that kid again considering his father was responsible for skynet and all

@MGee As funny as that pic is, it's also incredibly sad to see someone getting so overweight like that.

They should bring back the kid from Salute Your Shorts that played John's friend come back.

Well kids do grow up. So I can see Danny being in the movie. I wonder if he will be able to survive the attack from the Terminators or not.

I still wish Cameron hadn't killed Dyson in T2.

That said, I still can't tell if this is a reboot or not.

John Boyega would be perfect as Cyborg in a Justice League movie.
