'Yoda' Set To Return In Upcoming Episode Of Disney XD's STAR WARS REBELS

It has been revealed by TV Guide that Yoda will appear in the January 5th episode of Star Wars Rebels, "Path of the Jedi". Well, sort of. Despite being in hiding, he'll offer Kanan and Ezra some counsel on the planet of Lothal. He hasn't left Deobah however as Yoda will only appear as a "disembodied voice" according to the site. On the plus side, that voice will be provided by original voiceover artist Frank Oz! "I felt personally to keep Yoda as this disembodied thing it would confuse the audience less," says executive producer and "Path of the Jedi" director Dave Filoni. "I didn't want you to think Yoda could be teleporting from planet to planet. What's great about Frank, by keeping the voice very present and active, you do feel that it's a watchfulness and that he's speaking to you from afar. And I didn't want anyone to think that he had left Dagobah [the planet where Yoda first trains Luke Skywalker]. It was on the outer rim of what we do, but I think we were able to pull it off." Are you looking forward to the return of Yoda? Sound off below!

This show will never match the quality of The Clone Wars. Never.

This show is so spectacular. Characters and their interactions are really nicely done, and so far there have been no filler episodes. Plus, cmon, lightsabers.

This show is SO much better than The Clone Wars. This one actually feels like Star Wars. Clone Wars started out kiddified and got darker. When it was good it was really good but when it was bad it was terrible and there were a LOT of bad episodes. So far Rebels has been excellent.

Glad the Bills could help

If they had a [frick]in decent QB with that defense they would be a contender, oh well i guess.

@SkullFace616:

Really? - I find everything about it kiddified and sub clone-wars, from the over-emphasis on Space Aladdin's sentient hair that just won't keep still even if there is no breeze - to the shitty laser-slingshots to the wookies who's art-style makes their fur look like they are animated turds. The wookie reunion scene in the pilot episode in the ship's hanger bay was sickly-sweet kiddie schmultz of the very worse Hollywood variety, i literally barfed in my mouth.

"We really wanted to do this fanservice, but we had to think really hard to come up with an overly complicated way to do it.

Milking the cash cow in my opinion.
BTW cannot get into Rebels. It's too kiddy compared to Clone Wars. I'd rather it been a lot more serious with less of the giddy attitudes that the characters have.

Hmm... This seems kind of unnecessary, but I'm totally down with more Yoda.

And...not trying to start anything here, but I don't understand why people think this show is too childish. (Aside from the whole being a KIDS SHOW thing...)
I mean, the main characters frequently MURDER people. I repeat, they freaking MURDER people! On that "Old Masters" episode, several of the main characters just throw Stormtroopers off a cliff! You can hear their screaming voices fading away in the background! And that's not to mention all the Stormtroopers they just gun down, or actually bomb to death!

What I'm trying to say is, this show is actually pretty mature, with mostly well-written stories, and interesting characters.
Is it perfect? No.
Is it as good as Clone Wars? Not yet.
But is it too childish? NO.

I miss Clone Wars too, but this show is what we've got now, and for what it is, it's pretty freaking solid.

That's all I got. :P

Good. That show has been a bit stale. And I am starting to hate that planet they never seem to leave. And where are the real rebels? I want to see the bases, the x-wings and people united to fight for a cause they believe in.
