STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Banner Pits Rey Against Kylo Ren As A TIE Fighter Takes Aim

A new international banner for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed and it features some awesome imagery (which is way more inspired than those bland character posters). Check it out...

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is fast approaching, and we now have a brand new international banner for the final chapter in the "Skywalker Saga." This is quite a bit more imaginative than the character posters we got yesterday, which were essentially just promo images on a black background.

As you can see, Rey and Kylo Ren are engaged in a fierce battle in a watery setting (probably the one we've seen in the trailers). Perhaps most interesting is the fact that they seem to be behind a waterfall of some sort as a TIE Fighter looms in the background. Does it belong to Kylo or someone else?

Who knows, but we probably shouldn't take a promotional banner like this too literally!

With any luck, we'll be getting a Chinese or Japanese trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in the coming days as they tend to feature new footage, but we'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

How legit was the 3 ACT leaked plot of this film? If legit then I really don't care much for it

Dear Lord...…………

Please let the rumours NOT be true,

Please let this movie NOT suck,

Please let The Emperor's big scene NOT be ridiculous,

Please let Rey's parents reveal NOT be a pathetic and laughable,

Please let the ending NOT be stupit and disappointing on a scale you can't imagine

Please let Rey and Kylo's truce (after long fight) scene NOT be a total "Save Martha" moment.

Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything feels very run of the mill. Like you can predict what will happen with ease.

Sooo she just fixes Anakin's lightsaber (which was totally ripped apart in TLJ) offscreen and we'll never talk about it again? Sounds about right.

Rey,Finn and Poe should have been supporting characters to the OT cast, not the other way around.

Short sided thinking on Disneys part. They could have had ep 10,11 and 12 with Rey Finn and Poe as the leads.

Or this trilogy should have been set 60 years into the future, refer to Han, Leia and Luke as legends who saved the galaxy.

@BigBoyCaprice - Instead, it's as if all the struggling and fighting and sacrifices they made were for nothing as the First Order takes over and the Emperor just comes right back. It's almost as if they intentionally shit all over the happy ending to ROTJ. But, at least we got to see all our "legends" as old, tired, sad failures before they died pathetically. 😑
