Aaron Williamson Will Play Another T-800 In TERMINATOR: GENESIS

We know Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise the role of THE T-800 (albeit an aging one) from the original movie, but it seems there will be a younger model in the mix too. Click on to see what bodybuilder Williamson has to say about landing the part of the cyborg.

The post has since been deleted, but  body-builder Aaron Williamson has revealed that he'll be playing a T-800 in the next Terminator flick: “Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I’ll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production ‘Terminator: Genesis’. I’m extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape.” But the question is, will he be playing a new character, or simply a younger version of the original Arnie model? A recent post by Hitfix describes how this movie will overlap with the first Terminator, and details a scene in which the older, bearded Arnie T-800 shows up after his younger counterpart has dispatched the Bill Paxton-led punks from the first movie.

"Kind of like Back to The Future, the Terminator: Genesis script folds into the first film in the series.... There's a scene in the script where literally, we see the scene in the first Terminator where Arnold steps out, the punks threaten him, he rips Bill Paxton's heart out and takes his clothes and wanders off. And as soon as that scene ends, another Arnold Schwarzenegger who's older, and bearded and a very different version of the Terminator, comes walking in from the other side and plays another scene, right at the scene of that first incident."

Interesting stuff I'm sure you'll agree. We'll update if any info on Williamson's exact role comes to light.

I like that they're getting a good cast, so they better prove to us that this movie is necessary.

I always thought all T-800 models was just Arnold models. Why can't this guy just be a different type?

T-800 can use whatever skins they like. But since their chassis is so big, they need to use the Arnold skin to look authentic.

Terminator movies are much more enjoyable to watch if you think of them as prequels to the Matrix movies and vice versa.

That would be a cool way to make this movie work, with the BttF vibe. Still not frothing at the bit for more Terminator, but it already sounds better than that last one.
