According to Action Effects, the famed action star was reported to be starting two new films continuing the Terminator series with production getting ready to start, and also with the film following after McG's rather disappointing recent installment, Terminator Salvation. The news was shared among many sites, including right here on CBM(check out Mark "RorMachine" Cassady's coverage HERE). Now it seems that the whole news was not as legit as it seemed, and that in fact, the Austrian has no plans as of now in doing anymore films. If you hit the link for the said source above, the blog containing the news has in fact, been removed. The Terminator Fans have caught on to the error of the supposed 'news' and have debunked it with legitimate proof. Check out their statement below:

Yesterday Moviehole.com and our sister site TheArnoldFans.com reported a new Terminator 5 news story involving Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to Terminator which would begin filming in 2013 and would continue for six months. The internet was alive with excited fans talking Terminator in hushed tones... Today it appears that the story may well have been a fake. How? the original story was in fact reported by "ActionEffects.blogspot.com" which was then picked up by "Moviehole.net" and then "TheArnoldFans.com" the facts in at least two articles differed, the original post cited no sources and was located in the USA but their info claimed Denmark... Questionable?

So for anyone who was excited for this news, it seems that it isn't happening. Atleast, not in the way it was recently reported. The blog site didn't even get the quotes from Schwarzenegger, and is apparently not even legitimate whatsoever as the blog has even been removed! Sorry guys. Sound off with your thoughts below in the usual place.

Looking into it myself, it doesn't look like ActionHeroes story was (totally) fake... it was just REALLY freaking outdated (although the part about it being set after Salvation may have been for all we know.)

Deadline reported last September that plans to shoot in Fall 2012 hit a setback when Justin Lin dropped out of directing.

Why would he? Terminators don't age, I say we get 1 more wrap up film either JC stops the or skynet wins. Us Arnold's likeness like savation ad end it.

Terminators DO age. The organic tissue surrounding the terminator chassis will surely age. It CAN be done. The Terminator would look older but internally would be every bit as capable as it was the day it rolled off the line. Not an issue at all.

I liked salvation,I couldnt give a rats ass if it was the real arnold, what the hell would you of said if it was the real arnold coming out of that steamy tank and he has wrinkled...they matched the first terminator..that made me happy..if there will ever be a next one I think they need to send someone back in time,in fact they could do all 3 time travels in 1 movie...Dont see the hate for salvation,we had the ''kill john connor'' stage TWICE! they ended the cat and mouse game and that I liked to
