First of let me say Until earlier today I had not seen Scott Pilgrim VS The World so this is also a review of my very first viewing. Second I would like to state that we went threw one hell of an adventure just trying to find this surprisingly rare and hard to find movie. Now your probably asking yourself why I am telling you about the great lengths we went to in order obtain this movie? Simply because I would like to start of by saying it was worth all the damage from walking because Scott Pilgrim VS The World truly is how they claimed it would be... An epic of epic epicness!
Plot::
Scott Pilgrim VS The World tells the story of a 22 year old jobless slacker Scott Pilgrim(Michael Cera) who must fight his new girlfriend Ramona Flowers(Mary Elizabeth Winstead) seven evil ex-lovers Matthew Patel(Satya Bhabha), Lucas Lee(Chris Evans), Todd Ingram(Brandon Routh), Roxy Richter (Mae Whitman), Katayanagi brothers Kyle(Keita Saito) and Ken(Shota Saito), and Gideon Graves (Jason Schwartzman). The plot is a great wacky over the top parody of today's society. The main focus is making a movie the same goofy style as a fighting video game well throwing in a nice yet still just as funny romance plot right in the center.

Casting:
For me when it comes to adaptions it is not so much the look(Though it is important) it is how well the actors can get the personality down. Which is why I was little hesitant about Michael Cera playing Scott. Cera is usually type cast as the wimpy nerdy kid and I wasn't sure how well he was going to play a sarcastic and kind of dumb slacker that Scott is. Thankfully Cera proved me wrong and then some, Cera owns the role of Scott. The band Sex Bob-omb is played flawlessly by Alison Pill(Kim Pine, Drummer, Scott's EX), Mark Webber(Stephen Stills, the lead singer and "talent" of Sex Bob-omb), and Johnny Simmons(Friend and backup bassist for Scott). One of the most enjoyable parts of the movie are scenes between Scott and Wallace Wells(Kieran Culkin) Scott's gay roommate. Ellen Wong who plays Scott's girlfirend who is still highschool throughout some of the film is what I find to be the most spot on casting from the book after Ramona Flowers. Romona Flowers the girl of Scott's dreams(literally) is played amazingly by Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The features include a blooper reel titled Scott Pilgrim VS The Bloopers, Plenty deleted scenes to satisfy anybody that may have wanted to see even more hilarious or action packed scenes, And the Adult Swim Scott Pilgrim VS The Animation which is a cartoon scene from the graphic novels not featured in the film. Now those were only some of the features you can find on the Scott Pilgrim Blu-Ray but there are so many even I dont know the full list.

Movie Review:
Scott Pilgrim never misses a beat, whether it has you laughing out loud or keeping you glued to the seat with intense(and still hilarious) action scenes, you will not want to miss. It is easily the most entertaining movie I have seen this year and I suggest at least one viewing if not hundred.
