Short of theaters once again being forced to close their doors, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will arrive on the big screen on September 3. The Marvel Studios movie isn't set to receive the Disney+ Premier Access treatment, so it's going to be interesting to see how it performs at the box office.

Excitement is certainly building, and we now have six new character posters for Shang-Chi!

As you can see below, these banners put the spotlight on Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Katy (Awkwafina), Wenwu (Tony Leung), Xialing (Meng'er Zhang), Jiang Nan (Michelle Yeoh), and the mysterious Death Dealer.

"Marvel Studios’ 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Tim Roth, and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham. Recently, Marvel Studios shared a new minute-long trailer you can check out here

Take a look at the new Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings character posters below:

I'm really hoping there's a good explanation for why The Mandarin's rings are arm bracelets instead of finger rings, but I'm thinking it's just going to be change for the sake of change.

@McMurdo - What does that have to do with changing rings to bracelets????

@soberchimera - the infinity gauntlet comparison. Something else gloved and/or on the fingers maybe confusing the GA.

Also, looks like they're tying it to Chinese martial arts culture with them mirroring Iron Training Rings, used in southern Chinese kung fu style

@BlackBeltJones - also I think the idea is these will be taken by shang chi at the end (his costume is missing the arm bands after all)
