Dwayne Johnson Explains What Makes His Version Of BLACK ADAM A Hero To Some
The Rock talks here about why his version of Black Adam won't necessarily be perceived as a villain in the DC Films Universe despite the character's comic book history as a bad guy. Read on for details...
One of the most interesting things about the big screen version of Black Adam (aside from the fact the character is now getting his own solo outing rather than co-starring in Shazam) is the fact that he's frequently been described by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a hero or anti-hero. Well, in the Instagram post below, the wrestler turned actor sheds some further light on that.
It definitely sounds like that while the movie won't shy away from some of the darker aspects of the character, he will indeed be portrayed as a hero in the DC Films Universe. That doesn't mean we won't see him one day taking on Superman and Shazam, of course, but don't expect Black Adam to be similar to Suicide Squad in terms of focusing on a bona fide baddie!
