SHAZAM! Actor Asher Angel Shares Behind The Scenes Set Photos From Upcoming DC Film

Asher Angel, who will play Billy Batson in the upcoming DC solo film Shazam!, has shared some behind the scenes photos of what looks to be some sort of promotional photo shoot.

Asher Angel appears to have arrived on the set of DC's upcoming standalone Shazam! film. The young actor, who will star in the film as Billy Batson, a teenager who has the ability to transform into an adult superhero with one simple word, took to social media and shared two images on his Instagram story.

The first photo appears to be from a photo shoot on a soundstage, perhaps possibly from a promotional shoot. The actor commented "#Shazam" with two lightning belts. The other forward is much less revealing, only showcasing the DC logo alongside a sticky note that has "Films" written on it.

Of course, Asher Angel is only one half of the film's starring duo, playing Billy Batson. Once he speaks the magic word "Shazam!," he becomes an adult superhero who will be played by Zachary Levi. Given that Shazam is the one with the cool suit and powers, it can be assumed he was also present on this shoot. If that turns out to be the case, it hopefully won't be long now before we get some sort of look at the film's two stars, and perhaps even a costume reveal.

Shazam! is set to hit theaters in 2019.

JL was far more entertaining to me than The Last Jedi. Just my opinion.

@mistral1 - maybe because justice league doesnt have an overly long pointless subplot that goes nowhere

@mistral1 - I don't know if i take that far, but, yeah both movies were disappointing. I think we all were expecting that JL was going to suck and TLJ should be one of the best movies of the year.
Soo yeah, i'm much more disappointed about TLJ than JL.

@NicolausCopernicus - Almost the same but things will go more in line with films like Conjuring, Anabelle, etc. than how things are run at the main studio.
