Wonder Woman may have been a hit but it's been a rough couple of years for the DC Films Universe after the mixed/negative response to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League. As a result, a lot of comic book readers are sceptical about what Warner Bros. has planned next and with Shazam set to start shooting next month, that movie has become the target of fan ire.

However, when director David F. Sandberg was tagged in a post bashing the movie on Twitter, he was quick to hit back with a message for the haters and why they need to be patient about Shazam

After all, we know very little about what to expect from the DC Comics adaptation so it is too soon to judge it, especially as we're probably still a good few months away from even getting the first official image! What do you guys think of Sandberg's comments? Let us know that in the usual place and be sure to also check out a very cool piece of Shazam artwork released on social media by Jerry Ordway.
