If you thought that Peter Parker would take the Iron Spider costume with him into the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, guess again. During a recent interview, Marvel Studios costume designer Louis Frogley (Ant-Man and The Wasp) revealed that the hero's suit is going through some big changes and his new appearance will seemingly be in relation to his growth as both a superhero and a young man.
"I am not actually working on that film, but the costumes will have very big changes because, in the film, Spider-Man becomes more like a man and not a teenager," Frogley confirmed, teasing some major changes for the wall-crawler moving forward. Seeing as Peter will have died and come back to life by the next time we see him, this makes sense and he's obviously progressing through school too.
Just how different the costume will look remains to be seen but now we've had the classic version and the Iron Spider suit, there are countless directions Marvel could choose to go in. It's possible the hero will don another technologically advanced get up or even make his own assuming Tony Stark will no longer be on the scene. Time will tell but let us know your theories in the comments section below.
