Emma Stone sits down with an interviewer from collider.com and talks a little bit about
The Amazing Spider-Man.
If she’s seen any of the merchandise for the
The Amazing Spider-Man:
No, I don't know about merchandising, really. Have you seen any? (The interviewer said he's seen some at Target) that's really cool. I would like some of those toys.
How the finished film compared to what she envisioned when she first read the script:
Well of course there's differences, they're always gonna differences. I don't actually count myself as a really good judge of finished product. I try to focus more on the shooting process than the finished product because I know i have my own stuff that I bring to the table... It's so hard to see it objectively but I like the film, I really like the film, I do.
The experience of previewing the film at Comic-Con and WonderCon:
That has actually been a really fun part of the process. It's so much fun to meet super fans of Spider-Man itself as a comic book. It's cool to meet people with that level of passion.
How Gwen Stacy’s fate in the comic books made her want to play the character:
That was in the front of my mind. Actually that made me go "I want to play this part." It's just such an incredible stamp on pop culture history and such an incredible choice for Marvel. And find it very fascinating that effect on Peter and how he moves forward with that knowledge
The experience of already having to prepare for a sequel:
It's bizzare because you know you have to shoot by a certain date in order to make the release date which is something that I've never experienced before... It's kind of interesting and a little bit daunting but I mean I'm excited for this next go at it.
Well there you have it guys, a refreshing interview from Emma Stone to get everyone a tad bit more excited for the movie!
