After bringing Wilson Fisk to life in three seasons of Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio was given the opportunity to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Hawkeye. While his story appeared to reach an abrupt end in the Disney+ series, we've heard from multiple sources that the Kingpin of Crime will make his return in Echo (alongside a number of other Daredevil characters).

In the video below, D'Onofrio talks about his future hopes for the villain, reiterating his hopes to share the screen with Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the wall-crawler's next solo adventure.

"I mean, it’s obvious that Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man are the ones that my character is tied to in the comic books. But there’s plenty of room for others, I can just only hope that that happens," the actor teased. "But I mean, Spider-Man definitely. I think that would be really really fun."

When Spider-Man 4 was mentioned as a possible future project he could appear in, D'Onofrio simply stated: "I want it as much as everybody does, so we’ll see."

Now Spidey has given up his Stark-tech costume and gadgets, it makes sense for him to be pitted against more grounded foes. A team-up with Daredevil to battle New York City's Kingpin of crime would be nothing short of mind-blowing for comic book fans, so here's hoping D'Onofrio gets his wish.
