Spider-Man: Homecoming was the first of the wall-crawler's movies to take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that meant we got plenty of references to the world inhabited by The Avengers.
By this point, Steve Rogers had become a fugitive following the events of Captain America: Civil War, making a series of high school PSAs featuring the hero even funnier. Decked out in that unpopular suit from 2012, the videos poked fun at Cap in a lot of ways, but it was Chris Evans who had the last laugh with a post-credits scene appearance teasing fans about the value of patience.
Now, one of Spider-Man: Homecoming's writers, Jonathan Goldstein, has revealed that there were actually five more of these educational videos with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in them. We're assuming they never got past the scripting stage, while common sense says the other five would have featured Iron Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Thor.
It's a shame we never got to see these, but at the same time, there's no denying that making Captain America's recurring appearances a gag with a big payoff probably worked best.
What advice would you have liked to see the rest of The Avengers give Peter and his friends?
