“His friend was huge, like HUGE!”-
Captain America: Civil War came with an amusing post credit tag that saw our friendly neighbor Spider-Man (Tom Holland) explaining to his “unusually attractive aunt,” how he received his injuries. After he “technically” told her the truth about what happened, he unveiled his webshooter light, which projected his sensational Spidey-Signal onto the roof.
In the final cut of the film, the Russo Brothers went with the design shown in the banner image above, even so,
Perception (the graphic company that worked on the scene and countless other Marvel Studio films), revealed an alternate version of Spidey’s signal that came with a message from Iron Man. Check that out below.

If you can’t make Stark’s message out in the image above, it reads “Swing by the tower. Got some new upgrades you should see.” Could those “upgrades” be referring to the Iron Spider? Possibly. But considering the fact that this design never made it into the film, the Russo Bros. most likely didn’t want that type of speculation to begin. Instead, they’ll let Jon Watts’ handle all that good stuff when Spider-Man appears in his solo film in 239 days.
Below, you can check out several other designs Perception created for the Spider-Signal.
