SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - Do The First Stills From The Movie Actually Feature A Familiar MCU Location?

We got the Spider-Man 3 reveal earlier today, but do the first official stills from the Marvel Studios movie take us to an alternate universe version of a familiar MCU location? Read on for details!

Last night, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon shared the first official stills from Spider-Man 3 (along with some fake titles), and...well, they certainly didn't tell us much! Peter Parker, MJ, and Ned are clearly up to something, but where are they? We may be able to answer that question.

Some eagle-eyed fans (via The Direct) have noticed that the flooring in the first image (as well as the trio's surroundings) closely resemble Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum.

On the one hand, this isn't overly surprising, especially as we've known for a while that Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme will serve as Peter Parker's "mentor" in the movie. However, upon closer inspection, it definitely looks like Strange's New York home has fallen into disrepair. Perhaps that's due to his five-year absence after the Snap, but there's another possibility.

Could this be an alternate universe version of 177A Bleecker Street which is just an old building, and not the home of Doctor Strange? It's definitely a possibility, and might explain what Peter, MJ, and Ned are looking for. It's all speculation at this stage, but not a theory that can be discounted.

In related news, it's obviously now been confirmed that Spider-Man 3 will be titled Spider-Man: No Way Home. That can be interpreted in many ways, but it, too, could point to the wall-crawler being trapped on another Earth.

What do you guys think?
