SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Star Tom Holland Teases His "Coolest" Scene With A Mysterious Character

We still don't know for certain that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will show up as their respective Spider-Men in No Way Home, but star Tom Holland has now teased a scene with a mysterious character.

Though it's widely believed that the return of Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective incarnations of Peter Parker for Spider-Man: No Way Home is the worst-kept secret in Hollywood, we still haven't had official confirmation, and those involved with the movie continue to play down the rumors during interviews.

Tom Holland has always maintained that if those previous big-screen Spideys are set to appear, he has not been made aware of it, and the actor stuck to that story while chatting to Empire for their latest issue. However, he did tease a scene with a certain character whose identity he was not at liberty to divulge.

Holland reveaedl that he thinks the sequence is “one of the coolest scenes I’ve ever shot,” and also features his Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May, and Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan. “It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing. The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor.”

He may not be referring to Maguire or Garfield, of course, as No Way Home is shaping up to have more than a few surprises in store - but we can't imagine one of the returning villains sitting around yapping about being a hero with Parker's family, so we're leaning towards one of the other webbed wonders!

A new trailer for No Way Home is expected to debut soon, though we don't have a specific ETA. While specific plot details remain under wraps, we do know that Peter will go to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and ask him to cast a spell to make the world forget that he's really Spider-Man. This has disastrous consequences, as the likes of Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and other Multiverse villains are unleashed.

Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters this December.

@mastakilla39 - None of those would make sense to me at all. They aren't heroes like Spidey.

That would actually be a super awkward circle lmao.

This would be every Peter there

@Menks123 - Venom 2 established that he's the lethal protector (hero/anti-hero), jared leto revealed that Morbuis is his 1st hero role in an interview, I don't know much about kraven the hunter but in the 90s animated series kraven helped spiderman after he saved his girlfriend and help kraven control his animal instincts.

I read kraven's last hunt but doubt they will be doing that. Not a big fan of kraven, mostly know him from the 90s cartoon lol

@mastakilla39 - Kraven could easily turn into a fan favorite. I was introduced to him as a kid early mid 80s. He was taking down a lion... for practice. Thik Wolverine, minus the healing factor/claws. He is a great precursor to Venom IMO, simply because he almost succeeded in not triggering spidey-sense.

He will say "With great power comes great responsibility" Perhaps Peter Holland will understand what responsibility is. He needs to mature.

at this point I wish they'd rather confirm or deconfirm for good the whole Spider-verse angle. speculation runs rampant and the fandom is in absolute shambles between those who believe Maguire's and Garfield's involvement and those who make fun of them for believing that. if you don't see me engaging much with Spidey related news, that's why, it's just so tiring. not to mention the near constant criticism towards this version of the character, that the CG looks "bad" in a low res-still or whatever. I'm just so done with "the discourse" sorrounding this movie. I'm gonna watch the next trailer and then the movie in december, and that will be it for me till then.
