POLL: Who Is The Best Live-Action SPIDER-MAN Actor? Here's Your Chance To Decide!

It's Easter weekend and that means the news cycle is a little slower than normal. We're keeping you up to speed with everything happening at Star Wars Celebration over at SFFGazette.com, of course, but here on ComicBookMovie.com, we have a very important question for you...

Who is the best live-action Spider-Man?

Only three actors have brought the character to life on the big screen in the non-animated realm. First up was Tobey Maguire way back in 2002's Spider-Man. Two years later, he returned for the masterpiece that is Spider-Man 2, though his time as the web-slinger reached a disappointingly premature end when Spider-Man 3 wrapped up the trilogy in 2007.

That wasn't the best movie, of course, and a reboot of the franchise followed in 2012 with The Amazing Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield took over the role, but "The Untold Story" we were promised felt awfully familiar. Despite an oddly middle-aged interpretation of how a teenager acts (skateboards and Coldplay!), the actor did a terrific job and the movie was entertaining enough.

The less said about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, the better, but Garfield did his best with the material he was working with. That was where the series ended, with plans for third and fourth movies scrapped along with a Sinister Six spin-off. Why? The sequel's budget spiralled out of control, meaning it was deemed a box office failure.

With Sony desperate to return Spidey to his former glory, they turned to Marvel Studios for help. Then-relative unknown Tom Holland was enlisted to play Peter Parker in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, later reprising the role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far From Home

In 2021, all three Spider-Men united in the unforgettable Spider-Man: No Way Home

We know it won't be easy, but you can cast your vote and pick the best live-action Spider-Man in the poll below.

@OptimusCrime - I feel like the best way to do that is...by blocking you?

None of them. I love them all, but we have yet to see a really good live action Peter Parker, imo.

These are just guys who played him, who I love. They matched the criteria, they all brought some aspect of Parkerness to the table, but none of them nailed it.

How do I vote for Michael J. Fox?

And how does malatrovaa vote Johnny Majors (or Hunter Schaffer or Victoria Alonso or whoever his/her latest obsession is)?

And WTF does "Voting in incognito mode is not allowed" mean?! Okay that's fairly self-explanatory.

Wow, four comments in a row? I'm turning into Gusto!

@ObserverIO - Then who was the least of the bad?

@EskimoJ - Um... I don't know. They all had different qualities.

I will say that I love Andrew Garfield more, just because he had a kindness and also a weirdness that seemed to come across on screen. That's who I was gonna vote for, Andrew Garfield.

There should be an option for 'The Spider-Bros.'

@ObserverIO - Yeah I use a privacy browser so I can’t vote. Agree that they all have had good and bad aspects but we have yet to get a definitive Peter or Spider-Man.

Force me to pick one and I’d go Maguire.

Spider-Man 1 & 2 are two of the very best & most influential CBMs ever made.

The ASM movies were terrible & featured pervy Parker.

The Holland Spidey movies are good & getting better with each one. NWH was GREAT!
