A new clip from Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has released; featuring both Kraven The Hunter and Symbiote Peter Parker's first interaction!

Yes, like all of you, I did see the new Insomniac Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer last night, and it was probably one of the coolest video game trailers I have ever seen in my entire life.

Venom, Lizard, Kraven... and now apparently Mysterio as well! will be our most formidable foes we have gone up against until now. Although, let us not forget the internal fight we will definitely face first, as Peter Parker will be infected by the Venom symbiote.

A new clip from Marvel's Spider-Man 2, features what could be the first interaction between Kraven The Hunter, and Peter Parker - although it was not how anyone would expect it to happen, for Peter is at this point brutally infected by the symbiote.

Infected with the Venom symbiote, Peter, who is keen on saving his friend at the moment, harmlessly confronts Kraven The Hunter, until he exploits one of the extraterrestrial's weaknesses - that being sound, as we then see a scene reminiscent that of Spider-Man 3, where both Peter and the symbiote are in pain from the symbiote's weakeness.

This clip alone makes up for 90% of mine, and other fan's excitement to play Marvel's Spider-Man 2, as we are sure to experience many more cool moments such as this.

Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is set to release on the PlayStation 5 console on October 20th.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, it features a narrative inspired by the long-running comic book mythology while also deriving from various adaptations in other media. It is the third entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, acting as a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), with Peter Parker and Miles Morales struggling to navigate the next steps in their personal lives while combatting an assortment of villains.

Among them including a private militia led by mercenary Sergei Kravinoff, the monstrous Lizard, and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Parker and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships.

It features Yuri Lowenthal As Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Nadji Jeter As Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Laura Bailey As Mary Jane Watson, Jim Pirri As Kraven The Hunter, Graham Phillips As Harry Osborn, Tony Todd As Venom, Mark Rolston As Norman Osborn, Stephen Oyoung As Martin Li, Darin De Paul As J. Jonah Jameson, Jacqueline Pinol As Rio Morales, and Griffin Puatu As Ganke Lee.

@MyCoolYoung - hogwarts legacy was pretty good. Pretty much exactly the kind of open world rpg that's dominating the market, but the combat is pretty satisfying. And hogwarts itself is fun to explore.

Plus, it's fun sticking it to the Twitter activists who consider playing the game as being transphobic 🤣

@Origame - lol I didn't hear about the Twitter stuff but what don't they complain about at this point.

That's good to hear. I loved the old Harry Potter ganes so I was excited about hogwarts legacy then had some unexpected emergencies so it got put on the back burner. I just recently got it but haven't started

@MyCoolYoung - oh really? I'm genuinely surprised you didn't hear about the controversy. It was pretty ridiculous and pathetic 🤣

But anyway, jk Rowling said that she viewed biological women and trans women as inherently different. So Twitter claimed she was transphobic and decided to boycott everything new in the Wizarding world. The latest being hogwarts legacy.

Naturally it's not an issue if they wanted to avoid playing it themselves, but then they got into a harassment campaign over anyone expressing any interest on the game. Didn't matter if they even knew what jk said, and included twitch streamers, youtubers, random people online, and even charities were targeted if they said anything but condemning the game. Even got a Japanese twitch streamer who could barely speak english to retire from twitch over the harassment she received. Funny part is it all failed and the game sold like gangbusters 🤣

And yeah I hear that. I've had a lot going on and want to finish rangarok and a playthrough of starfield before getting back into spiderman for the next game in october.

@MyCoolYoung - For Hogwarts Legacy, as far as video games go, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it's all stuff that we've had before, and I found it to be missing a lot of features, as well as having a somewhat broken inventory/economy system. As far as Harry Potter video games go, it's nothing short of amazing, I couldn't put it down for a whole week after release. Hogwarts itself should be considered one of the seven wonders of video games, it's so rich and detailed. I never got tired of the combat system, you get enough spells to chose from that you can always try different stuff and keep your gameplay varied.

If you love HP, you're gonna go nuts, if you're not particularly a fan, it's gonna be 50/50.

@OrgasmicPotatoe - I agree to an extent, but from what I understand Sirona was a very late inclusion due to the controversy with Rowling. That and the trans community called him a token character.

Personally I don't think they should've included him mostly from the perspective it gave them some level of validation that their views and approach were right, but I agree with you that they are eating themselves alive 🤣

Imagine if this is just Kraven stealing the symbiote for himself. Harry is probably gonna end up as the host, but (like someone on here, just forgot who, mentioned before) Kraven and the symbiote is a lethal combo

Unpopular opinion, but while the graphics are bad but today’s standards, and it lacks the extra animations of modern Spider-Man games, but I prefer Spider-Man 2’s web slinging, I felt more in control the new game feels like I can hold one button and it did it all for me.
Pressing each shoulder button to fire a web from either hand was awesome.

I wish the new game had a manual and assisted controls so I feel when something cool happens I did it

Love how accurate these video games get characters right (Kraven, MODOK, Taskmaster) right before we get the less accurate versions when their movies come out

You know what, after watching the clip, I believe that Henry Cavill should be cast as Kraven.
