John Malkovich Will Play The Vulture In Spider-Man 4!

Malcovich has confirmed he will play The Vulture in the fourth Spider-Man movie while talking on an Italian chat show..

As a guest on an Italian tv Show called "Quelli che il calcio", actor John Malkovich has confirmed that he will play The Vulture in Spider-Man 4.

He has confirmed the production's stopped and that he's waiting on the screenplay.

Finally he said that he is hoping that the shooting will begin very soon.

Editors note: My Italian's a bit rusty, but I think the title of the article certainly sounds like it's confirmed. I'll take Cyc89's word on it! Cool? Not cool?

ill give it chance to until i see the trailer but i got a feeling we are gonna see spider-man 2 with a different villain..... witch wouldent be a horrible thing but idk, im a lil undecided on this 1 i guess

im just very disappointed they're going with the vulture. of all villains, why him?? he's an old guy with wings...thats it!

but i guess it could still be cool. get ready for everyone to come in and start ranting that lizard and kraven should be in it, followed by pics of gerard butler...like we haven't seen it a million times, lol :)

Its not ideal..but it could work. I'm disappointed its not Lizard too..although Baker is confirmed as returning so they are obviously going to do something with him eventually. Don't like Kraven very much so not too bummed about that. I just hope to God this doesn't mean the Vulturess bollocks.

Isn't Hathaway out though? I wonder who will take her place? Will it be Vulturess or will it be Black Cat. I also think that Peter will be revealed to the world as Spider-man in this one. Which hopefully sets up the Lizard/Kraven story for 5. Isn't Alvin Sargent working on not only 4 but the storyline for 5 as well? We'll see.

I'm sorry, when you said Italian talk show, all I could think of was that recurring SNL skit with the annoying Italian talk show host. That's what I'm picturing MAlkovich talking on.

Not bad choice for casting, I just hope that they tease the end of the flick with Connors transforming.

You know, the best part of Web of Shadows is really the fight against the Vulture. Having to constantly fight in the air was freaking awesome. That's what SM4 needs, LOTS of 'air' time.
