Could J. Jonah Jameson Be African-American In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3?

Everyone has been talking about who could play J. Jonah Jameson in TASM3 and I can currently see one professional African-American comedian that could possibly perform the role as well as Simmons. Could JJJ be of another race in the next film? Here's what I think..

J. Jonah Jameson, the fast-talking, cigar-smoking boss of the Daily Bugle.  With ASM3 in talks, director Marc Webb wants the lucrative figure in the film. The only thing is, not many people feel as if there's an actor who could portray Triple J as well as J.K Simmons in the original trilogy. Fancasts everywhere say people like Hugh Laurie or John C. McGinley but I'm here with a few oddball choices of my own. This list will anger some fans and some will even think I belong in a mental institution but I've thought hard about this and I've come up with a list of people who have the charisma to replace J.JK Simmons as the chain-smoking J. Jonah Jameson.

Choice #1 : Mike Epps

In a time when we're not particularly worried about race just an honest portrayal of our favorite comic book characters, I feel Mike Epps is more capable of filling J.K Simmons' shoes. If J. Jonah existed in real life it would be Mike Epps. Fast-talking, witty and in alot of his movies he is shown to be that neccessary comic relief. I can imagine Epps doing everyhthing Simmons did in the original trilogy from giving out orders to hopping about his office in Spider Man's suit.  His comedy needs to only be tweaked slightly as we're not looking for those *snap* *snap* jokes and quips but more of a "I can't believe this guy" vibe. His short part in the movie Faster is as close as he got to J. Jonah and it was not dissapointing.

Choice #2 : Daniel Tosh

A man that many like and twice as many hate. Love him or hate him, Tosh has stuck around for a reason. The youngest choice on this list, Tosh could deliver a semi-parody of the Jameson portrayed by Simmons or hell he maybe can play a young Jameson who's just starting to run the company. Tosh has the comedic ability to play a good Jameson in my opinion.

Choice #3 : Will Ferrell

He's already played an anchorman so why not slap a mustache on him again and have him go wild? One of the most talented comedians of all time, Ferrell will no doubt impress whether playing by the book or winging it and making his own version of J. Jonah in the process.

Choice #4 : Dave Chappelle

In an attempt to step out of Chappelle's Show's shadow, Chappelle himself could play an entertaining J. Jonah Jameson by being completely serious in his role while only throwing in little elements of comedy. Though audiences might expect him to randomly reference skits on his show, in my world, that wouldn't happen. Chappelle could demand his screen time by simply doing it by the book.
