We don’t know much about Corina Calderon’s character in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. All we do know is her character’s name, which is Grace. While she spoke with HHB Media at a recent red carpet event, she revealed that she can’t say much about the film itself, but she did tell how her experience was on the set. “Honestly, it was a great opportunity because before we shot my scenes I was on set with David Ayer, the director, who I got to sit with and watch direct and I sat with the headphones, so I got to watch them do their scenes before my scenes.” She then added, “So for me, I was like ‘I’m ready to go! I’m ready to play’”

Later in the interview, she revealed how it was working with Jared Leto, and told how she was amazed by his "brilliant" performance. “Jared Leto as the joker is just…he is brilliant. I was amazed, just fascinated, just memorized watching him. Even when he was going to get his mic checked, in between scenes or setting up another scene, watching him, really gave me this freedom. A whole new freedom as an actress, and I just felt brave, watching him go and just…it was an amazing lesson." The young actress then continued, "He’s a great teacher, even though he didn’t know he was teaching me.”

She's not the only one blown away by Leto's incarnation of the Joker! Margot Robbie, Will Smith, and more co-stars recently awed at Jared's portrayal. What do you think? To see Corina (as she dons a Donna Mizani top)speak for herself, check out the video interview below!

I can't for the theory's about who she's playing, small roles can never be a thing so everyone will think she'll be some heavy hitter character. Then when we see the actual film she'll just be a nurse at Arkham.

I bet she's actually Deathstroke.

Funny how NO ONE ELSE is receiveing praise or mention for their performance, besides Leto......honestly I wanna hear about Margot Robbie or Viola Davis as Waller. Hows their performances??

Trying SOOOO hard to make people get on the Leto train as this is going to get MASSIVELY compared to Ledger. I hope he does well but I wanna hear about Robbie's performance. Sick of hearing about Leto

@DinoRanger that's my point. Interviewers needs to start asking questions and probing about other actors. It's as if the only focus for them, in terms of inquiry, is Leto's Joker. I'd like to see a change in that. Get some questions about Deadshot, Cap Boomerang, Katana, Waller etc.

I honestly think that Joker is the selling point of the film and that's why he's the push. I wanna see the film for Quinn, Deadshot...the team not the adversary. I'm intrigued by this new Joker but I love the Squad.

Cool. All the stuff I'm hearing about Leto forces my expectations of him to go higher and higher. He seems like he's gonna kill the role, anyways.
