2016 saw the Comic Book genre come out on top of the overall box office. IMDB has created this list based upon the most searched films over the past year on their site, and to no ones' surprise, the top of the list is compiled of nothing but comic book movies.  So whether you are a fan of DCEU, MCU, or Fox....... your movies and interest did very well this year.

Topping the list of most popular actors and actresses was none other than acclaimed Harley Quinn actress, Margot Robbie who is currently involved in pre-production of Warner Brothers upcoming Gotham City Sirens.

@Skrull - That's true but there are many factors on box office even. Anyway I just reported on what is circulated the World Wide Web today. I think we should all be happy that a comic book movie is number 1-5. If not you are not really a comic book movie fan, just a fan of one studio.

Not sure if "popular" and "interest" are synonymous. In one sense box office receipts are a better gauge of popularity...so?
