SUICIDE SQUAD Breaks Record As Fandango's Biggest Ever August Pre-Seller
The reviews may have been "mixed", but Suicide Squad still looks set to have a pretty great opening weekend at the box office as Fandango's top August pre-seller in the company’s history...
Following on from earlier reports that David Ayer's Suicide Squad is tracking towards a record-breaking $140 million opening weekend, Fandango informs us that the supervillain ensemble flick has already broken a record as the top August pre-selling movie in their 16-year history, "eclipsing 2014’s blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy and last year’s breakout hit Straight Outta Compton in total advance ticket sales prior to release."
Of course, the reviews haven't exactly synced up with audience anticipation thus far, but that's a conversation we can save until Suicide Squad is released this weekend.
