SUICIDE SQUAD Director David Ayer Has Tweeted Out An Intriguing Image Of The Joker And Harley Quinn

Speculation is mounting after Suicide Squad director David Ayer shared an image of The Joker and Harley Quinn on social media. Is he confirming that he's still on board for Gotham City Sirens, perhaps?

David Ayer shared the below image from Suicide Squad earlier today, leading to a lot of speculation.

The still features The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) dancing in that brief Alex Ross-inspired shot from the film, and the cryptic nature of the Tweet has led many to assume that this is Ayer's way of confirming that he will indeed direct the planned Gotham City Sirens movie despite rumors to the contrary.

It may also have something to do with that separate Joker/Harley project we heard about recently. Or, Ayer might simply be sharing his favorite shot from Suicide Squad!

What do you guys think? Are people reading to much into this? be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

I've been thinking about getting around to watching the extended cut. I'll do it, but I'll probably have to rewatch the original version first because I've forgotten so much about that [frick]ing movie and want to be able to notice any differences.

I didn't think Suicide Squad was nearly as bad as most people like to make out. There were some terrific scenes in there along with the awful stuff.
