In
Suicide Squad, members of the titular Squad got influenced by Enchantress and the audience was shown dream sequences from some of the members of the Squad, most notably Harley & Deadshot. With Deadshot killing Batman and Harley living a normal life with a normal, husband-figure kind of Joker. Those sequences were quite unexpected additions to the film, to say the least.
In an interview with
CinemaBlend David Ayer revealed his plans about a dream sequence for one of the highlights of the film, Captain Boomerang. Involing deserted islands and being fed exotic foods.
I don’t know if we shot one. I know I’d written one at some point, yeah, if I remember correctly, it was basically like some sort of, you know, some kind of desert island fantasy, being fed grapes or something. It was, either that or a bunch of bunny rabbits. I can’t remember.”
Well, that sequence does sound exciting and the right kind of weird. Plus, it would have been pretty hilarious to see that on screen. Which was your favorite of the sequences in
