Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was announced during last year's DC FanDome event with a cinematic trailer revealing Task Force X squaring off with an "evil" Superman. It left us with a lot of questions, and while Rocksteady has dropped a few teases since then, this 3-minute story trailer offers a much better idea of what to expect from this wacky, action-packed adventure.
Unfortunately, there's no gameplay footage, but the graphics are pretty incredible, so we're not expecting to be disappointed on that front. It would, however, be good to find out more about how controlling the four villains - Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang - will work.
On the plus side, we do learn a little more about the threat facing Metropolis; it seems as if an alien invasion has led to heroes like Superman and The Flash taking an evil turn, with only Task Force X left to stop them. It feels like there will be more to Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League than that, but it's unclear when further details will be revealed following this awesome story trailer.
There's a lot of humour here, though that fits in with the nature of this team. The Batman: Arkham series was extremely dark, so it will be fun finding out how Rocksteady embraced this new tone.
