MAN OF STEEL - (JOR-EL SPOILER)

I was analysing the recent TV spots for Man of Steel and stumbled upon something very interesting, it's spoiler-ish so don't hit the jump if you don't want to know.

As you can see in the image, Jor-El is beside Lois Lane as she fires a gun. This sort of proves that he survives the annihilation of Krypton, and it also looks like he helps Superman fight against General Zod. He did appear to be alive in previous TV spots too where Superman drifts into space in the 'Jesus' position.

My guess is that its similar to previous Superman films, where Supes can 'talk' to Jor-El in hologram form, an AI construct provided by the computer in the fortress.

You seriously think just because he's in the picture he survived the destruction of Krypton. It's obviously the interactive hologram in the fortress, way to jump to stupid conclusions.

Guys, I just realized that Jor-El and Lara survived the destruction of Krypton in SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE and SUPERMAN II! Why else would they show up in the Fortress of Solitude?! <---sarcasm goes here
