Martha Kent is winging it back to Smallville, and word is it’s not to dispense motherly advice.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Annette O’Toole has inked a deal to reprise her role as Clark’s mom later this season.

Producers are still working out the exact timing of Martha’s reappearance, but a "Smallville" insider tells me it’ll most likely fall during May sweeps. That same source hints that the mother-son reunion will be rocked by an “unexpected surprise” or two.

O’Toole last appeared in season 6 when Martha moved to Washington to become a U.S. Senator.

Hooray. I have missed MARTHA, but this show would be even better if they could get Rosenbaum back as Lex. I miss that demented, bald man with daddy issues. But awesome Martha is coming back. Looking forward to the Absolute Justice movie XD

InstigatorGIRL..... I have somebody at my work that goes to Rosenbaum's house for Christmas every year and she tells me he will never be back because of 2 reasons. He hated shaving his head, even thought that was the reason he got the part. He got really tired of it, but the main reason was his back. He had back surgery and I guess he was done with Smallville. oh well as you know I am also a huge fan and I was sad to hear this news......and i tried my hardest to get with her so I could go to his house, but it didn't work.....damn ugliness foiles me again....LOL

I heard in several interviews that he said he would come back in the final few episodes IF he could wear a bald cap and only if it really is the end. So maybe when the series finally does end.

Rosenbaum may have told people he will never comeback, but the dude that played Pete said the same exact things, and he came back. I have read that Rosenbaum will only consider coming back if he gets to wear a skull cap, he won't shave his head.

He should be having breakfast with her every sunday atleast...
